James Abbott knows the true meaning over over coming obstacles in life. His story or hard work and perseverance is an inspiring one.

James, a former foster youth and student of local Mariner High School in Everett, now Microsoft Accountant spearheaded a donation of $85,000 to Mariner High School. $42,500 of the funds came from his own savings and $38,00 were matched by his employer, Microsoft.

“Had it not been for that school and those teachers, I’d be working some job where I’m living paycheck-to-paycheck,” Abbott said. “A lot of people give money to their college. What about their high school? That’s where it all starts.”

Join us LIVE on Facebook or Zoom at 7pm PST Tuesday, November 17th to hear how James not only graduated high school, but went on to graduate college, become a Microsoft Employee and all around amazing person!
