Katrina Eileen Real Estate is united behind all efforts to eradicate poverty. They stand behind the United Nations’ Global Goals and the agreement to end poverty in all its forms everywhere by 2030. Their motto is “we are all invested together.” They are champions for the community and stand behind their vision. They provide homes for high school seniors who have aged out of the foster care system and create a launch pad for success.
Through the unexpected challenges that Covid19 has put on the community we all need to work together to get through this. They saw a lot of negativity in the news feed so we want to make a change. Their goal is to inspire people and celebrate the people helping and working together.
Katrina Eileen Real Estate came up with an idea to try to help. It’s a contest. Anyone can enter - small businesses or individuals. The purpose is to support each other in any way you can dream up. It can be helping a neighbor, supporting a small business, bringing in a foster pet, starting a charity campaign. Every week we will share a story about a small business, non-profit or an individual who is struggling in case you need some ideas of how to help. We ask the business, non-profit or individual to reach out to us to tell us your story in a completed form (video preferred) at realkindnesscontest@gmail.com and donate one item or service that will be used for second place in the contest. We will also be giving out surprises to people that maybe didn’t get the likes, but deserve to be recognized. Individuals or businesses can only win the contest once, but are free to try each week. The contest will continue until business is back to normal. There are no age requirements.
****HOW TO ENTER****
+POST A SIMPLE VIDEO ON YOUR PROFILE AND SHARE TO THE GROUP showcasing what you have done or are doing to support a local business, non-profit or individual in your area. (include what you are doing - picture of the gift certificate, picture of you purchasing take-out, etc…phone videos are perfect)
Be as creative as possible - humor is a plus! USE HASHTAG #REALKINDNESS and make sure your post is public so we can see it.
We encourage you to share your post too - everyone could use some positivity in their news feed

+Every week on Friday at 10am the post with the most likes WINS $1,000 (Starting Friday, April 3rd)
+Every week on Friday at 9am the post with the second most likes wins the PRIZE offered for that week by a small business. We will post each week what the second prize is. (Starting Friday, April 3rd)
